The Triathlon of the Gods - Coursee Swim: The swim will be an 800 meter downstream swim in the Columbia River. The course lays in a wind shadow east of the Cascade Locks City park. This will reduce possible roughness. Participants will board the historic Sternwheeler and be taken 800 meters upstream to the open swim start. Wetsuits required. Water temperature averages 60-62 degrees. After the swim you will have a 120 yard (carpeted) run to the bike transition. Bike: The bike course does a loop through Cascade Locks, and an out and back on Herman Creek Road (the bike course goes east, and then returns). The course enjoys a couple hills with long gradual climbs. Run: The run course is a scenic 4-mile loop through Cascade Locks. There is one moderate hill on the course.
Aid: There will be an aid station at the bike turn-around, and one aid station on the run course. Aid will also be available in the transition areas.
