Legs: The legs are segments of the race from the START to a transisition, transition to transition, or transition to FINISH.

Team Requirements:
6-Person - Every member must complete at least ONE solo leg.
3-Person - Every member must complete ate least TWO solo legs.
** All members must participate on the “TEAM” legs.

An equipment list is provided.  Teams are responsible for all equipment they think they may need. 

All team members must wear competitor jerseys. Jerseys will be provided for all team members.

TEAM

The adventure starts with a TEAM parade lap. The FULL team will run a 2-3 mile lap through downtown The Dalles.  Team must run together.

One team member will negotiate a 1-2 mile sea kayak course. 

Teams must supply their own boats. White water kayaks / canoes OK.

One team member will run <10-miles UP on roards to the next transition.

Mountain Bike.  Riders will travel less than 25-miles total. Course is on gravel/dirt roads.

Mystery leg.   No technical skills will be required.

Road bike less than 30-miles.  Two members must ride.  Team members must finish together.

Tandem bikes are NOT acceptable.

Bike and Tie.  Two members will travel less than 10-miles total. One on foot and one on mountain bike.  Members will alternate bike/run.  Course is on single track and dirt roads.

Road cycling less than 15 miles.

Teams must begin this leg before 6:00 PM or they will be DQ’ed.

Trail run less than 8-miles with ONE significant climb. 

Teams must begin this leg before 7:00 PM or they will be DQ’ed.

TEAM

A final team challenge.  Retrieve your flag and finish.  No special skills required.

 

The field limit will remain at 150 teams.  Registration will close at that point.  No exceptions..

More information will be provided as necessary and needed.

Team packets will be mailed to all registered teams.

Teams must check in by 6:15 AM on race morning, or they will be disqualified..

 A Northwest Forest Pass will be required for each team vehicle.

 USARA membership licence will be required by each individual participant to participate in Adventure Relay. You can purchase an annual licence ($35.00) by visiting the US Adventure Racing Association.

Day of event licences will be available at registration ($8.00). If you will be getting a license day of event, you must be early to registration and have exact amount.
